Adam Pritzker is the founding partner of Wholestack, an investment vehicle that supports early stage funds in emerging domains such as cryptocurrency, synthetic biology, regenerative agriculture, and more.
In addition, Adam is the founding partner and Chairman of Assembled Brands Group LLC (AB) . AB takes a long-term, concentrated, hands-on approach to building enduring companies and platforms with founding teams, from inception and beyond. AB makes direct investments across the capital stack with a primary emphasis on consumer products and financial & business services. Under Adam’s leadership, Assembled Brands has built several successful companies since inception , including Khaite, a leading digitally native luxury fashion brand, and Artium, a software development firm.
Prior to founding Assembled Brands and Wholestack, Adam began his entrepreneurial career as the co-founder of General Assembly, a pioneering co-working and education company focused on providing professional development and teaching the most in-demand technology, business, and design skills. Since its launch in 2011, General Assembly has trained over one million students at campuses across four continents.
Adam is also the founding partner of The States Project, a nonprofit advocacy organization that works to win governing majorities in state legislatures across the country and promote smart, effective policies that will safeguard our democracy, protect individual rights and improve people’s lives.
Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Anthropology from Columbia University in 2007. He has served on the Columbia University Board of Trustees since March 2021 and is a member of the President’s Council for Columbia World Projects.
